The Henries 2020 Recapped
And just like that, the Henries Awards are all wrapped up for another year!
The California Dreamin’ theme was a welcome difference to the cold and rain we’ve been having here in the UK. The gorgeous invitations were designed by our very own head designer Lucie Whitehead. The gold foil details, warm colours, and 70s feel gave us all the uplifting escape we needed last week.

We’re incredibly proud that our Luxury Boxes won the Henries Award for the Best Christmas Box or Pack Collection. The judges applauded our ‘attention to detail on the designs, the packaging, and the finishing, which when combined, make a very classy collection indeed’.
We also landed in the top 12 for Best Service to the Independent Retailer, which is our highest positions ever in this category! We can’t thank you enough for voting for us in this category – it means a lot. Thanks also for your support this year; we couldn’t ask to work with better retailers.

It was lovely to hear from some of our distributers across the pond – Jenny from MacMillan in Australia and Alan Harnick from Notes & Queries, to name a couple! Both had heart-warming words for everyone in the industry. A lovely surprise was that Voice of the Balls Alan Dedicoat hosted the awards, blessing our ears with his lovely and familiar tones all evening.
The Henries 2020 was indeed a memorable evening, which took place virtually, and brought together 700 members of the greeting card community from all around the world. We’d like to extent a huge congratulations to all of the winners of the Henries 2020, and of course a huge thank you to Jakki and Warren from Progressive Greetings for putting together a spectacular online event.
If you couldn’t make it and are feeling a bit of fomo, don’t worry - you can watch The Henries 2020 unfold as if you were there at this link.
