PG Live 2021 Review
TRADE SHOW REVIEW:
PG LIVE LONDON 2021
PG Live was a huge success at the Business Design Centre in London last month. All of us at The Art File are really happy to be back at trade shows alongside the rest of the greetings community! It’s a fantastic feeling to have the industry back together. A huge thank you goes out to all the customers who attended PG Live and made the show a great one for The Art File.
The Art File’s Managing Director, Ged, said “we were excited to be a part of the return of PG Live at The Business Design Centre in Islington last month. Customers were eager to see new greeting card collections ‘live’ and not through a screen and catch up with friends over the two day event. It was also an important step forward for our industry as a whole to showcase the best the British greeting card design under one roof again.”
We were incredibly proud to launch our brand new licence Snowtap at trade shows last month, and of course finally have The Art File and Snowtap teams all together at PG Live! Gracie and Susie are the talented artists behind our brand new licence, Snowtap, which received a great response on the stand at PG Live. We couldn’t be more excited about The Art File’s newest license, and we’re certain it’s going to become a firm favourite.
Another collection that was thoroughly well loved at PG Live was Soulmates, one of our brand new collections for 2021, which was by far the hottest collection at both PG Live and Hoe & Gift. Everyone loved it and couldn't wait to have these bold cards on their shelves. Soulmates is a beautiful new collection for 2021 comprising 16 cards designed by our talented inhouse designer Beth Kemp. The inspiration behind this collection follows the increasing trend for spiritual wellbeing and mindfulness connecting mind, body, and soul. Finished with hot foils and embossed lines, these cards are simply striking. The collection will be available this coming week.
A huge congratulations also goes out to Jakki and Warren for organising a brilliant show, what a huge success! “It was so good to see the whole greeting card community back together at PG Live. It was wonderful to see real smiles on the faces on retailers, publishers and suppliers, enjoying the shared kickstart back to normality,” said Jakki Brown, co-owner of PG Live and Progressive Greetings. “Exhibitors really had pulled out the stops with their new products and retailers large and small were there to not only lap up all the newness, but place lots of orders too. We cannot thank everyone enough for the huge support and belief in PG Live 2021, including The Art File, which certainly lived up to its reputation for creating a host of wonderful new ranges that certainly caught the eye of retailers,” she added. We also loved the paper display by our paper suppliers Fedrigoni – it was truly stunning!
