Harrogate Home and Gift 2015 Review

28 July 2015

As the Home and Gift show closes its doors for another year, we packed up our newly attained High Vis jackets and reflected on a very exciting 4 day event in the grounds of the Majestic hotel in Harrogate. This year (as always) our stand was in the bustling ‘Design Point 1’ alongside the reputable name of fellow Nottingham publishing house Rachel Ellen Designs whom we always love seeing! Special thanks must go to Alex and his team at Quantum Exhibitions who did a fantastic job as usual with customising our stand for the show; we would most definitely recommend his expertise to any other publishing company wanting to stand out from the crowd at trade shows.

Home and Gift this year gave us the platform to showcase our Autumn/Winter releases for the second part of the year, along with allowing us to show our comprehensive Christmas 2015 collection to customers and show goers. The feedback we had for these products was fantastic, a number of customers commented on how high the quality of our collections are, and that a number of their shop goers always comment on how different and on-trend The Art File is. Remarks like these are of course music to our ears which we are incredibly thankful for- and it puts an even greater spring in our step when rumbling up the stairs to inform our in house designers of how much of a good job they’ve done.

ROAR- our newest Everyday range was proudly on show, and received fantastic feedback from all our customers- some orders taken at the show for ROAR have actually sold through already…

The Art File’s Managing Director, Ged Mace had this to say about the show this year. ‘I was pleased with the support we received from our customers who visited Home and Gift this year. The surroundings of the show make this exhibition unique in our calendar; it was also good to see the greetings card hall being moved more towards the heart of the exhibition, pointing out the significance of Greeting Cards in the retail sector.’

So, we leave you with saying a huge thank you to all who came onto our stand this year, and we very much look forward to seeing you at our next show, Autumn Fair at the NEC in Birmingham.
