About Us

It all began in 1997. Our first ever greeting card ranges were launched at Spring Fair that year and were an instant success. Since then the company has grown rapidly to establish itself as one of the leading trend setting independent publishers of greeting cards and stationery in the United Kingdom.

Based in Nottingham our award winning company works with some of the most talented designers around and our products are available to design – inspired retailers across the globe. Stockists include a number of High Street names, smaller chains and an array of independent stores.

We use the best materials we can to produce our award winning cards and use various finishes on our cards including detailed die cutting, hot foils and flitter. In 2009 we moved to paper materials which are all FSC accredited. All our envelopes are now produced from 100% recycled paper. We take our committment to the environment very seriously and as such are always looking at ways in which we can improve our carbon footprint.

Today Art File products are sold throughout the UK in an array of high street multiples, small chains, independents as well as in a dozen territories around the world with particular success in America.

The Art File brand continues to go from strength to strength. Having won the prestigious Henries award both in 2006 and now in 2011 which is the industries recognition of the greeting card world The Art File is reaching new heights. With iconic ranges such as Ink Press and constant new additions being added to the mix we really are pushing the boundaries in contemporary Art cards and Stationery.
